container alignment suddenly changes on one page

Hello, I am new to textpattern and am setting up my first site. I used the default css and pages to start and made some changes, like the cbs_navigation and smd_slimbox. I am having trouble with my contact page, which suddenly shifts to the left. I have set the page to default for the contact section, and of course the home page is default but doesn’t have the same alignment. I deleted the zem_contact from the contact page, but that didn’t help. I ran out of ideas. I have no idea what would cause this problem. Please help.

thank you very much

Re: container alignment suddenly changes on one page

You have this in both stylesheets but it will only affect the contact page I think: #contact {margin: 0 150px 0 0px;}

Disable it and see if that helps

Re: container alignment suddenly changes on one page

thanks for the reply, unfortunately, that #contact id style doesn’t exist on the contact page. I already disabled it. I only style sheet that is linked to that page.

Re: container alignment suddenly changes on one page

iirc (your site is down) body has id of contact. In the head it links to contact stylesheet which is exactly same as default stylesheet used on default page.

Oh. okay. Thanks a lot for fixing my problem. And thanks a lot for explaining to me how the CSS works. I really appreciate it.
