How to control html source 'neatness' from textpattern?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I came up with nothing on a search.

I was wondering if it’s possible to control how the html output from Textpattern is formatted. I’m somewhat of a neat freak and like my source indented. Furthermore, I like them to be two spaces each and not a tab. Is there any control over this from within TXP?

Nope. TXP produces valid XHTML. Browsers don’t care about spacing, nor do we.

Related. Indentation is helpful in your templates, but it doesn’t matter in your HTML source code.

used to get my goat all the time as well… you’d need to play around with the tags at times (to CR to not CR, add tabs, no tabs, double space or not). I don’t bother anymore … gets the real stuff done a lot faster.
