[request] which image plugin is most appropriate?
Hi,
I use smd_slimbox to manage galleries and I love it is there a simpler plugin that I can use to display 3-5 images (each image displayed for say 4 seconds) upon page load?

Have you looked at aro_slideshow?
v2 of aro_slideshow probably won’t give much benefit because it uses smd_gallery for layout — which is not exactly simple — and both are perhaps overkill for this use. But either might be worth a look to achieve what you want.
