Re: [request] Preview article with proper CSS
All great suggestions. I am curious, does the status “pending” serve any real technical purpose at this time? Or is it just a way to let other editors know that the article is ready to be published, nothing more?

In multi author sites where the writers do not have the right to publish texts, pending is a very important status… As is draft. Beyond its semantic reference, what confuses me is the “hidden” status.

if we change this behaviour, rest assured that you’ll also get a better way to preview articles (I have some ideas on how to implement that).
And that’s exactly what happened in SVN changeset 2887

I bet someone’s going to draw a Thickbox around this.

Re: [request] Preview article with proper CSS
For those that stumble on this thread now, the revision wet made it still part of TXP as of 4.3.0, but by default Hidden/Pending/Draft articles still 404.
However if you append ?txpreview=###
where ### is the article ID, you can view the page. You do need to be logged in though.
