[request] edit comment

I’d like a plugin like this one for wordpress: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/edit-comments-xt/#post-2134

it allows commentors to edit their own comments for a specified amount of time after they post their comment.

I think it’d be great so people can fix typos and other stuff like that.

Re: [request] edit comment

Uh, in my opinion… I really do not think it is needed since there is forced Preview where one can take a look at his/her comment for any typos before submitting it.

You don’t have to have a forced preview, I like this solution better. ;)

You should not remove the forced preview. With out it, you have completely zero spam protection and instead lots of spam. Without preview you will need to add things like:

  • Moderators and moderation, before the comment is published
  • Or registeration, can be done with plugin easily
  • Other solution is remove the preview and then move all spam protections to the article page itself. Here we came spam list slowness!
