<txp:thumbnail poplink="1" id="1" /> will do the same, won’t it?

Re: [archived] dca_pop (easy image links)
Thanks Els. :)
I see this html code in the plugin:
" <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"".$path_from_root.$img_dir."/".$id.$ext."\"",
" onclick=\"","window.open(this.href, 'popupwindow', 'width=",$w,",height=",$h,
",scrollbars,resizable'); return false;\">",
$thing,"</a>"
By modifying this plugin, how would I make the pop up positioned in the center of the browser?

If there is not a particular reason why you want the image to appear in an entirely separate window, the various thickbox (non-animated) / lightbox (animated) or similar open an overlay window in the centre of the browser window.

Re: [archived] dca_pop (easy image links)
It’s interesting, but after finding Dean’s dca_pop I have not really looked at anything else. It’s still working for me. I use Mary’s img_popper add-on to provide a quick browsing of images in a separate window. The combination of the two makes the writing workflow quite smooth.
I looked at a couple other image pop-up tools, but Dean’s simple tool works very well for my simple needs.

Hint: when the last post previous to yours was made in 2005 and the last post by the plug-in’s author was 2004, don’t expect too much…

LOL, true, true… But what I find interesting is that the plug-in still works, after nearly four years! That’s nothing short of amazing! ;)

Re: [archived] dca_pop (easy image links)
Brilliant. I have it working on my website. :)
The rss_thumbpop uses dca_pop with some modifications so the dca_pop should be working.

Back compatibility has always been important to this community and I see that this plugin, the first txp plugin, released over 12 years ago, as useless as it may be considering today’s tags and web standards, is still working on the latest 4.6 release! Way to go!
