Transferring Textpattern folder/file structure to the domain root lev

Hi, technical novice here flying by the seat of his pants. I was reading the textbook article “Moving Installation from Subdirectory to Domain Root on the Same Server” and was doing fine until I got to the third step:

“3. Next, transfer your Textpattern folder/file structure to the domain root level. (This is not the time to be suddenly changing your site’s structure. Leave the folder and file structure exactly as it is.)”

This is a little too vague for me; I’d really appreciate a more simplified, step-by-step instruction on how to actually transfer the file structure to the domain root level. What exactly do I do, and where?

Thanks for you patience and assistance. Happy to clarify if you have questions.
