SECON Treppenlift
SECON Treppenlift, a brochure-turned-website for an Austrian stairlift merchant. Screen design and website concept was done by their ad agency, Textpattern integration, coding and markup by me.
Useful components:
- asy_wondertag
- chh_if_data
- upm_image
- zem_contact_reborn
- …some homegrown stuff

Re: SECON Treppenlift
Nice, but submenus aren’t very visible, if i can say so… May be it’s because i speak deutsch a little? :)
But site navigation is very good – i meen links i articles and images.

Re: SECON Treppenlift
NB: Approximately 30 percent of the target demographic are senior visitors aged 60+. The site concept tries to deal with this fact by preferring “body copy inline” navigation over menus, a reduced set of navigational choices, a harmonic colour scheme, and – of course – rather large font sizes.
According to the site owner, it is expected that a considerable fraction of all visitors is not very acquainted to the web, might shy away when their client behaves erroneously, and the like. So we chose to use as little client side technology as necessary.
For me, this was a novelty, and I was rather surprised to learn how different generations act on the web.

Re: SECON Treppenlift
I like the design too. Except the menu whose fonts appear too small on my screen
