Next articles link not working

Hi,

I have this setup for my main news page, it lists the first 5 and then I want to be able to click next for older articles, but I cannot seem to make it work. Can anyone help?

<txp:article_custom status=“sticky” section=“news” limit=“1” form=“article_excerpt” />

<txp:article_custom category=“news” form=“article_excerpt” limit=“5” pgonly=“0” section=“news” status=“4” />

<txp:text item=“newer” /><txp:text item=“older” />

article_custom lists cannot be paginated also <txp:text item="newer" /><txp:text item="older" /> cannot generate links for older/newer

1. Pagination works only with <txp:article /> not with <txp:article_custom />
2. You also need txp:older, txp:newer etc. navigation tags to make actual links
3. At last, txp:text just outputs text strings, not links.

Yeah, it was, a cap of a minute, but mine txp:older was faster by 3 secs than your edit :P

i have a problem with those tags and i don’t know i can resolve.
In a page i must extract different article from a different section but all article must have one defined category.

So i have use article_custom. But i cant use txp:newer and txp:oledr.
How any other method i can user to obtain the some result?

thank’s I have resolved.

I have installed rss_superarchive. It work as Article. I have defied a multi section and one catgory, and it work fine.
