Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_image: More powerful image display

Hello,
I get a strange error when I’m trying to install this plugin:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function gzinflate() in /home/users/…/textpattern/include/txp_plugin.php on line 207

The same situation happens when I try to install upm_img_popper. I have TXP 4.0.5 and two other plugins: cnk_section_tree and rvm_if_this_article. Any ideas why it happens?
Thanx in advance!

@sauo: These plugins are distributed in an encoded, compressed format. Your server’s installation of PHP has been compiled without zlib, which is necessary to decompress them. Talk you your hosting provider about getting zlib support in PHP. If they refuse, find a better host. :-)

If you go to the download page, I now offer both a compressed and uncompressed version of each plugin. :)

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_image: More powerful image display

Hi Mary,

Love this plugin, but I ran into a little problem since I installed the MLP plugin.

When using the upm_article_image popup, the MLP plugin adds a language marker (en, ja, nl, etc.) to the image address, eg. “http://www.mysite.com/en/images/5.jpg”. As a result, the image cannot be found.

This is the upm_article_image tag that I use:

<txp:upm_article_image type="popup" offset="1" />

Any idea how I can fix this issue?

Old Photos of Japan – Japan in the 1850s~1960s (100% txp)
MeijiShowa – Stock photos of Japan in the 1850s~1960s (100% txp)
JapaneseStreets.com – Japanese street fashion (mostly txp)

Kjeld

You should have email. It sounds like this issue.

Mary

I’ve resolved Kjeld’s issue — it was an MLP problem.

Thanks for this release developers! Got this error when logging in after updating to 4.06 from 4.05:

A problem occured while loading the plugin: upm_image -> User_Warning: Duplicate entry '1-upm_image_load_script' for key 1
insert into txp_prefs set

I had the same error. Turning the plug-in off, then turning it on seems to have fixed it.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_image: More powerful image display

Hi!

My name is Alexandre. I am trying to use the upm image plugin… well, I already know how to display an image (a large image) in an article. This is what I wrote: <txp:upm_image image_id=“7” />

But now I would like to know how to display a thumbnail and, when someone click it, the page go to another page, showing the big size of the image. Is it very hard?

I uploaded (through the admin section in textpattern) an image called “passeio-de-barco.jpg” and the system gave it the id number “7”

Opening the Filezilla (a FTP program) I saw that the thumbnail has the name “7t.jpg”

With this data, can anybody help?

this is my website: www.mosapyr.com

Thank You!

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_image: More powerful image display

Alexandre,

use <txp:upm_image type="popup" image_id="7" /> instead.

If you haven’t done so already, you might want to install Mary’s companion plugin upm_img_popper that can create this tag for you along with a slew of other useful options.

Hi Masa!

Thank you for your reply!

The tag <txp:upm_image type=“popup” image_id=“7” /> shows the big image in a pop up window, but I have seen in some blogs (powered by textpattern) the image been shown in a normal window, inside the article (just one image). Do you know how it can be done?
