Email time stamp issue
Email generated by notices from Textpattern are an hour off. The email header shows the time is -0500 (CDT) and I would like these to reflect EDT. I have the time stamp correct in the site however the database server looks to be in central time zone. Can this be corrected in the php files and if so where should I make the adjustment?
Thanks,
Jim

Re: Email time stamp issue
It would use the mail server’s timezone (not the site’s or database’s), nothing anyone can do about that.

Re: Email time stamp issue
Also appears to be another time issue of 30 minutes difference in the article time. Post at 15 after the hour and the post reflects 45 after the hour…
Any ideas?

Are you in daylight saving time? Is that option enabled in the admin prefs?

Yes, we observe DST and yes that is checked.
Here is the time stamp on a test I just made @ 6:20 EDT. It’s actually off by +15 minutes and the hour difference between here and where the server is located, CDT.

Thanks.
