Re: aro_slideshow v2
Nice plugin, however, all my thumbnails are non present, they are just bullet points from the list they are supposed to be in. But no thumbnails. I’ve tried targetting this in the CSS, but to no avail. Is it normal behavior? Anything I’ve overlooked?

Re: aro_slideshow v2
hi Raveoli,
My guess would be you are not using the correct CSS. Try taking the CSS from the thumbnail example and then customizing it to your usage.

Re: aro_slideshow v2
Hi Aeron
A very nice plugin – thank you! A quick question – how can I add a “href” link to each image?
Thank you!

Re: aro_slideshow v2
hi Chris,
The short answer is you can’t — at least not without hacking the plugin and javascript. The long answer is the next version of slideshow will allow for that, but a release date is not available for the immediate future.

Re: aro_slideshow v2
hi Aeron,
Thanks for replying. In fact, I needed this urgently and hacked javascript adding onlick attribute to images. If you want, I can send you the code :)

Re: aro_slideshow v2
Hello,
is it nomal that the slideshow needs some seconds to start and is it possible to let it start immidiately. It needs about 5 seconds to start with the zooming-effect. Would be nice if someone can help.

Re: aro_slideshow v2
hi!
Just wanted to let everyone know that Slideshow 2 has officially been released!
There will not be a TXP plugin because the script should work perfectly with smd_gallery
As I won’t have much time in the near future to continue working on the script – and to get more into the open-source spirit of things – I have moved the project to Google Code. If you are a Mootools developer and would like to be contribute with the development of the script please contact me for SVN perms. There is also a demo site up showing off some of the new features.
Please note that while the Slideshow JS, CSS and images at Google Code are MIT-style license, the photos and styles at the demo site are Creative Commons.
Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Continue this discussion at the Slideshow Google Group.

Re: aro_slideshow v2
Slideshow 2 integrated with Lightbox
I am using Slideshow 2 (with Mootools 1.2.1) with Lightbox integration, and it’s working well on my site, unaltered from Aeron’s original example: http://www.electricprism.com/aeron/slideshow/example2.html
Aeron says that it’s “a stripped-down and customized version of Lightbox”. However, all I want to do it add the ‘close’ option to the base of the image but can’t get it to work. I tried changing the ‘showControls:’ to ‘true’ both on the page and in the lightbox.js file but it did nothing.
Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.

Re: aro_slideshow v2
I’ve been trying to use aro_slideshow v. 2.0.1 to display images from my slideshow image category for 2 days (not the whole time of course) to no avail.These are the steps I took:
1. Installed the aro_slideshow plugin.
2. Downloaded the mootools.js and slideshow.js scripts and referenced them in the <head> of my default page in that correct order.
3. Downloaded the slideshow.css and applied it accordingly.
4. Create an article form where i put <txp:aro_slideshow category=“slideshow” /> This refers to my image category called slideshow
5. Called the form in my default page using <txp:output_form form=“slideshow” />
This is what the source code of the page shows:
<div id="container">
<div class="slideshow" id="slideshow0"><img src="http://localhost/slideshow/images/3.jpg" alt="" width="619" height="299" /></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
myShow0 = new Slideshow("slideshow0", { hu: "http://localhost/slideshow/images/", images: ["3.jpg","4.jpg","5.jpg","6.jpg"], captions: [], classes: ["prev","next","active"] });
</script>
what am i doing wrong?
