Re: asy_jpcache 0.9.8 - Fast Full Page Caching
@artagesw: You’d have to e-mail him to find out. He hasn’t posted on the forum since October, and I’m not sure he’s watching this thread.
It’s actually kind of weird — he was posting pretty regularly right up until he stopped. Can anyone verify whether or not Sencer’s okay? Did something happen to him, or did he just get really busy?

Sencer’s recent absence from the forums is a cause for concern, I think. This and asy_wondertag are among the core plugins that I rely on regularly.
sencer is no longer a developer. rob sable (rss_ plugins) has also disappeared.

Seriously? Like a lot of people, I’ve used rss_unlimited_categories quite a bit. I knew Rob had been absent for awhile, but I didn’t know whether or not he’d “officially” left.
This lossage among core and plugin developers is disturbing to say the least.

sencer is no longer a developer.
Since when? Did he tell you something he didn’t tell me?

Re: asy_jpcache 0.9.8 - Fast Full Page Caching
um on irc you guys (either you or ruud) mentioned that only 3 devs were left. and judging by his lack of presence on the forum as well as on trac (his last dev commit was what, july 2007 or something? can’t check seeing as dev.textpattern.com is still down)
are you saying he still an active dev then?

I should just mention that the download I posted only addresses the admin permissions issue.
If there are other issues with fixes available I’ll quite happily include them if anyone can list them for me. I don’t particularly want to read through 13 pages to find them.

Re: asy_jpcache 0.9.8 - Fast Full Page Caching
Steve: Interesting. It was not me, so I cannot know what was meant. I can only assume he was referring to those actively developing. Sencer has been busy with school, but he’s still a part of the team and both privy and up-to-date on our discussions. What he follows regarding his plugins I’ve no idea.

I very much doubt I said that. Sencer, although less active at the moment, is still part of the team.

You possibly remember wrong. I’m almost always idling on irc (minus when server dies), and i have pretty much everything recorded on logs, and what I found while searching was:
[20:46] <iblastoff> hey wet, is sencer stil considered an active dev?
[21:03] * iblastoff has quit IRC (“( www.nnscript.com :: NoNameScript 4.2 :: www.regroup-esports.com )“)
[21:03] * iblastoff has joined #textpattern
[21:06] * wet has left #textpattern
[21:11] * daver89 has quit IRC
[21:15] <iblastoff> well ok thanks for the answer wet!
:D That also comes cross with Mary’s lines, as in example she says:
[00:36] <CabbagePatchKid> no one has “the last word”. We don’t have a “decider”. Sencer has been around the longest, but it’s not like he goes around saying, “I have the last word and that’s final”. I’m hesitant to have more than a handful of people at a time, l because I like things being simple and easy-going.
Heh, isn’t it nice that I log everything? :D

Whilst this is one of Sencer’s plug-ins I still think this is going a bit off-topic.

Re: asy_jpcache 0.9.8 - Fast Full Page Caching
Yeah, my quote is from Thu Mar 13 20:46 2008 :-D
Other quote were I can find iblastoff and sencer “together” is:
[20:01] <iblastoff> sencer too?
[20:02] <hcgtv> i’ve never seen sencer around here, nor wet
[20:03] <tang^> sencer used to be here
[20:03] <iblastoff> oh i thought you meant on the xpat forum
[20:06] <hcgtv> no, wet and spencer have been silent of late – i think they’re conspiring against us
My current logs go up till 2008/01/24 (minus 4-5 reboots and couple splits), when I decided to log #textpattern and #xpat. Quite odd that you asked the same question two months earlier from wet and the same happened – wet left the building (that was before I started loging) :P
