site always goes to admin section?

How come whenever I try to view my site it never shows the blog / front end but prompts for login (if not signed in) or shows admin?

That’s the url to access your backend. If installed in the root folder you should be able to get to your site at http://www.susanbuck.net

ah i see. I didnt install it in my root folder, installed it at susanbuck.net/textpattern

I would double check to see if you installed TXP properly. Here are the instructions

If you have installed into the textpattern folder, then the admin section should be at http://www.susanbuck.net/textpattern/textpattern, but that just seems to load textpattern.js…something with the install didn’t go right.
