Moving User Login Form

Does anyone know of a plugin or method to place the login form from http://example.com/textpattern at http://example.com/ so users can login from the front end.

Also, upon sucesful login they would be directed to a specified URL other than /textpattern

I think that manfre created a plugin for that. His home page has the field you need. Explore his plugins and I think that you’ll find what you need.

which url?

I couldn’t find what manfre uses though it may be ign_password_protect. The <txp:ign_show_login /> tag was precisely what I was looking for.

Well, no url really. Just need it to not take a registered user into the admin area which is achived with ign_password_protect, because when the form is submitted, you remain on the same page and are not taken into the admin. I was assuming I could tear out the login form at /textpattern and place it in the front and that upon submission would go into the admin. I just needed to scratch my head a little while longer. :)

Thanks for your help colak!
