I want to go further into CSS and JS, and Google gives me a huge amount of places..
I feel lost, where is a good place to start?

For CSS I found WestCiv’s tutorials helpful. But that was quite a few years ago. I’ve not checked things out in some time.

I honestly can’t recommend Jeremy Keith’s book (linked above) enough. It gets you going and teaches you the right way to do things.
Bullet Proof Web design should also be in everyone’s bookshelf.

Web Design from scratch has some really good tutorials in a basic understandable level.

You’ve gotten some good advice here. Be careful where you pick up your JS lessons because there’s a lot of bad, outdated advice on the web.
Once you get your feet under you with JavaScript, Christian Heilmann’s book is an excellent resource for advanced beginners. The principles and techniques it teaches are very solid. I think I read somewhere that there’s a new edition coming out in a few months, so you might want to get it from a library rather than buying it for now.
