<txp:recent_articles /> Post Date?

Hi,

I’m new to TextPattern and I’m stuck trying to figure out how to display the posted on dates for recent articles using the <txp:recent_article /> tag.

Is this the right way to do it? Here is the code that was generated, but I didn’t see a way to edit either the output by giving it a custom form, or by simply adding a parameter for Posted on.

Is this possible in TextPattern?

Thanks,
Seth

err unless there was an undocumented change in txp 4.0.6 with the recent_articles tag, it does not take a form attribute. you’re gonna have to use the much more customizable article_custom tag instead.

That is what I had to end up doing. I am very, very new to TextPattern.

yah the recent_articles tag is pretty much useless. the devs seem to have added category and section comma-separated lists to it in 4.0.6 but i don’t even see the point? why not add form support? i doubt anyone uses this tag when article_custom does the same thing only much better.
