css question: min-height and IE

hi,

i would like to strech content area longer if there is no content under the link.

so i set

#content {
min-height:260px;
}

for firefox and opera it helps, but not for IE (6.0). how to solve this? is there a workaround?

and it works. only i don’t know what this [id] means there
