[request] Questions & Answers
I was wondering if anyone is willing to make a plugin for the ability to have a static page for the Questions and Answers. Visitors will ask the blog author questions and the blog author will answer them. Of course before the questions can show up, they need to be on moderation so the blog author can answer them first before they are to be shown on the static page. The div that holds the answer by the author needs to be styled differently from the div that holds the visitor’s question. Plus, a count of total questions answered and unanswered would be a nice addition to the plugin.
Currently, I use the plugin sdr_guestbook for the Questions and Answers and another plugin ajw_if_comment_owner for styling the div that holds the blog author’s answer. It works fine but there are some features that are needed. I wanted the blog author’s answer to be shown under its question, there would not be any confusion to which question the answer belongs to. Plus, I want the section that holds the sdr_guestbook to be on moderation. In that case, if I turn on moderation under Preferences, all comments are on moderation. I wanted only the comments in the guestbook to be on moderation. No count of comments is shown because it includes both the questions and answers so it would not work that way.

Although a bit lo-fi, you could use zem_contact_reborn for questions, then just post a response as an article (FAQ template might be useful).

Re: [request] Questions & Answers
Uhm, I really do not like the idea of having visitors to email the blog author with questions and then blog author’s response in an article. I just think it is bit too much work when there are a lot of incoming questions. I was just hoping to have a plugin made something like the Faqtastic script. But if that can not happen at all, I will just stick with the sdr_guestbook and sed_comment_pack plugins then have moderation turned on.

Sure it could happen, you just have to find someone to write it for you.

Re: [request] Questions & Answers
I think I have figured something out but can anyone help me with getting the sdr_guestbook to work on my site? I did follow every step but it is not showing up.
