"Restricted area" message for extensions
I’ve just upgraded to 4.0.6 and I get a “Restricted area” message when accessing the list of extensions.
I’ve got rss_admin_db_manager and asy_sitemap installed.
Perhaps these are not compatible with tihs new version?

Re: "Restricted area" message for extensions
Both plugins need upgrades. Please read the author support topics for both plugins. For the rss_admin_db_manager, an update is available already. And asy_sitemap can probably be fixed easily. If you look at the announcement message for TXP 4.0.6 here in the forum, there are some guidelines for fixing the plugins yourself.

I too got problems with asy_sitemap in Extensions tab.
Restricted area, txp says. :)
Well, we shall just have to see about that. :)

Re: "Restricted area" message for extensions
There’s also a temporary fix which require only adding one extra line of code to the existing version of plug-in to fix that problem. Work fine for me.

Instead of asy_sitemap which is not supported any more you could use jmd_sitemap
