rpc.textpattern.com
Would it be possible for you to put a little left padding into the help pop-ups please as they are right up against the edge?
EDIT
Actually, just looking through a number of these it looks as though some are better than others. I don’t know if maybe some are new, or maybe it’s because some show a horizontal scroll-bar on my set-up. Perhaps the window needs to be a little wider.

Re: rpc.textpattern.com
also, it seems many of them just don’t have help at all?
for ex.
admin -> basic -> Automatically append comments to articles?
admin -> advanced -> file directory path
admin -> advanced -> plugin directory path
admin -> advanced -> Prevent widowed words in article titles?
admin -> advanced -> Compensate for persistent connections mod_deflate bug?
admin -> advanced -> Allow raw php?
probably some more.
i understand some of those are self-explanatory (sorta), except these directory path ones require the full path, whereas the ‘images’ setting for some reason only requires the relative path.

Re: rpc.textpattern.com
Steve, from what I can see, all the preferences you mentioned have a working popup help.

Re: rpc.textpattern.com
ruud, i just checked my site as well as my local test site with 4.0.6 installed.
i get this on the aforementioned preferences:
—-
Textpattern Help
Sorry
The help doc you requested does not exist. If you got here via a link from the Textpattern interface, this means it has not yet been created.
—-
but on others, i do get relevant help info. for example, the help link next to the no widow preference is as follows:
http://rpc.textpattern.com/help/?item=title_no_widow&language=en-us
if i remove the &language=en-us part, then it works.

Re: rpc.textpattern.com
Works for me, with and without the language part. Strange. Try a different browser and/or clear your cache.
