nested textpattern tags ?
Hi, my question stems from trying to nest <txp:keywords /> within a plugin tag
(I would have posted in the particular plugin thread but my question is really about nesting in general)
basically, my RSS parsing plugin uses a tag called feed (where the RSS feed comes from) such as
feed=“http://news.search.yahoo.com/news/rss?p=sport”
(which would give me an rss feed of all items from Yahoo News featuring the word ‘sport’
What I would like to do is, on a single article page, assign (in this example) the word sport as an article keyword, and then nest <txp:keywords /> within my RSS tag, such as:
feed=“http://news.search.yahoo.com/news/rss?p=<txp:keywords />”
This doesn’t work – it appears that Textpattern treats anything within the “ “ as straight text and doesn’t convert the tags.
Anybody have an answer or a workaround of how I could nest tags like this?
Regards
chris.
