Hey devs,
There’s no 4.0.6 announcement on the announcement forum, and there has been no announcement through the mailing list (is the mailing list used for anything? The only thing i get from it are the reminders that i’m subscribed).
Shout it out to the 4 winds:

I didn’t really think about where to put it for very long. Just picked the same location where the 4.0.5 announcement was.

The “Announcement Discussions” forum has been used to get feedback on pre-releases but there should be a detailed post in the “Official Announcements” forum once the full release is made. You will find Sencer’s post for 4.0.5 there.

Pre-release? According to the weblog at least, it has officially been released.

Also, it could be good for exposition to add one of those PunBB “banners” on top of the forum, that links to the official announcement thread. I remember it has been done on previous TxP releases.
