Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.6 release
Nice job TXP team. Also, thanks to Ruud for the heads-up about Rob’s DB plugin. I manually edited it, and it works great.
Are we all figments of God’s imagination?

Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.6 release
Where will fixes to 4.0.6 go?
http://dev.textpattern.com/browser/development/4.0/textpattern/index.php is at version 4.0.5
While,
http://dev.textpattern.com/browser/releases/4.0.6/source/textpattern/index.php is at version 4.0.6…
I’m just wondering because I tend to always get the newest revision and I was wondering if my shell script needs to be updated or not.
Thanks,
Shige

Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.6 release
It looks like like development/4.0/textpattern/index.php now says 4.0.6! Thanks Mary!
I’m curious about this in my diagnostics:
Textpattern version: 4.0.6 (r2726)
What does r2726 mean?
Thanks.

the (r2726 — or whatever) number is the revision number used by the devs’ code repository.

Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.6 release
So this has nothing to do with the changset number? Currently 2810…
How about the file checksums? Are they supposed to be for the final release of the version?
Should the checksums in the development section be updated to equal that of the release of 4.0.6? Just curious…

Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.6 release
checksums are used in diagnostics, to squawk at you if you’ve modified one of the files (so that when troubleshooting, we can deduce whether it is actually our code that is borked and not something you’ve added). We don’t bother updating them for development, or things could get ridiculous.

Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.6 release
When I install TXP 4.0.6 on a local server (MAMP OSX) I’ve got this message within the back-end :
Warning: unlink(/Users/personal/Sites/txp-4-0-6/textpattern/setup) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in /Users/personal/Sites/txp-4-0-6/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php on line 1259
Could you tell me what’s wrong?
Best regards,
Patrick.
