Creating a forum using TXP

Hi, I checked the FAQs and The plugins site but see nothing about using TXP to create a standard forum structure.

I want to use TXP to do this because I want to link the content in places to a standard site setup. Does anyone have any experience or idea’s as the best way to approach this.?

Txp is not a forum software but there is TXPhorum which you can use to emulate one.
