Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
All
Redbot is correct. The v0.2 section fields is able to hide fields output by glz_custom_fields. When v0.2 of section_fields and the next version of glz_custom_fileds are released, the two will be able to work together or in isolation.

Gerhard mentioned to me 0.2 might be out next week.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
When I’m signed in as an admin, I get the expected result. When I sign in as (I think) Copy Editor, I see all the custom fields (the ones I’ve asked the plugin to hide are still showing).

All
in anticipation of both Gerhard’s 1.1 release and of Txp 4.0.6 I’ve posted this a little earlier than originally planned.
Also fixes non-publisher account usages in Txp 4.0.5.

Steve, I have a 1.1 install of glz and sed doesn’t seem to hide those fields. It’s a 4.06ish svn install.

mrdale
thank you for posting! Strange, perhaps something is different between our two versions of glz_custom_fields?! Ok, I’ll have to look at that later, you may have to wait until Monday before I can fix it.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
Hello,
I just install on last rev Textpattern: 4.0.5 (r2796)
Don’t work, with this javascript error when I play on the section list :
_sed_sf_on_section_change is not defined
Note : upgraded now with 4.0.6 : same problem.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
jpdupont
can you examine the last ten lines that appear in the code edit box when you go to admin > plugins
and edit sed_section_fields?
They should read…
function _sed_sf_on_section_change()
{
var section = _sed_sf_section_select.value;
_sed_sf_request_section_custom_field_visibility( section );
}
js;
}
exit();
}
?>
If they don’t you may have a bad download — please try again.
If they do, I’ll need to clean off a spot on my thinking branch.
