Display random articles from several different sections?

So I know how to do this with one section using:

<txp:article limit=“1” sort=“rand()” form=“f_picture_plain” />

I want to use a plugin like chh_article_custom because it supports multiple sections

<txp:chh_article_custom section=“montage,photography,photo-illustration” limit=“1” listform=“f_picture_plain” />

However, I don’t think it can sort randomly. Any ideas?
