Same problem appears on my site – running mootools 1.11. Is the latest cbs_live_search (0.5) compatible with it? My search results are displayed in an own search section. <txp:cbs_live_search section=“search” /> leads to the search results after pressing enter, but still 0 article found in the dropdown. Where could the problem be?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] cbs_live_search
Hi, I wanted to install this good looking AJAX search on a site I’m working on.
Sadly it doesn’t work anymore…
I saw you have to install a part of the modules of MooTools, but in the latest version(1.1 (beta 1.2)) the module “Windows: Window.Base” is not available and I saw the plugin is for MooTools 1.0.
Is their an update in sight or does someone knows how to fix this?
Looked in Google and the MooTools site after MooTools 1.0 but can’t find it anymore since it’s an outdated version, damn!!!
Cheers

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] cbs_live_search
Everything works fine now…almost.
I get an “this.element has no properties” error in Firebug for my MooTools js.
Just can’t figure out why, the only thing I did was copying the js code from Steve’s site.
On Steve’s site no sign of an error for the MooTools js.
Url: http://www.alles-over.be/malediven (site is still in development), the search box is on the right top.
Any one knows what this error is and if it could harm?
Thanks

you can get rid of that portion (the whole snippet_content related function). looks like i packed it in there (which i use for my site)

I just can’t find the part I have to erase (no js expert), tried for over an hour and sometimes the live search doesn’t work at all.
I found the snippet_content part but when I erase it I still get an error.

Got it to work, found another js (from the author’s site), no errors anymore.
Thanks, one of the best plugins I used on a site, it has a high eyecandy level!

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] cbs_live_search
Me again…
When using the live search my homepage gets messed up. (http://www.alles-over.be/)
The box with the lamp in it and the other one with the bag normaly have to line out at the right column of the site.
On other pages (http://www.alles-over.be/malediven) where the search box is integrated in the right column I don’t get this problem.
Just can’t figure out why…
Do I perhaps have to change something in the plugin code? Something with my CSS?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] cbs_live_search
Hello all, I’ve just updated the plugin fto use the new mootools 1.2. The plugin is now in version 0.7.
Sorry for not publishing the previous version (it was compatible with mootools 1.x).
For this new release, the script is minified and mootools is included. You can find the original source in the “src” folder.
Enjoy.
My plugins : cbs_live_search (improved) – cbs_category_list – cbs_navigation_menu – cbs_gravatar (updated) – cbs_article_index – cbs_maintenance_mode (new) – cbs_section_language (new)

Hi Christophe,
is there any chance (or is it in your plans) to port this to jQuery, being that jQuery is bundled with TXP (and being that is the library of my choice ;) )?
Thanks.
