hmm thats a lot of odd inline css there. my first assumption is that form isn’t being floated/cleared properly. sure would be nice if IE actually had some worthwhile web dev extensions like firefox to play around with.

Re: My TXP Website Does Not Work In IE7

It’s little miracle that it even works with any browser, because the code is little haze. There is:

  • Made-up tags
  • Open tags
  • Extra closing tags
  • Inline styles
  • Wrongly used tags

And I have to warn you. The site is coded to be search engine spammer, so called blackhat’s work I supose. It wouldn’t be miracle if the site is in SE’s sandbox or banned completely. You just cant write anything inside h2-elements nor use un-related words in content.

And google’s hit tracker is meant to be used at bottom of the page, not at the top, if you want validate hits corretly.

Cheers!

Re: My TXP Website Does Not Work In IE7

How much to clean up tags?

Also, why can I not use h2? All I want is to bold certain text on my site. How do I do that? What un-related words in content are you talking about???? All the content on my site is relative. Please help?

Because h2 is a level two header, only for headers. Styling should be done with styling, not tags that are more related to SEO.

BTW, are you willing to pay about the cleaning or better say, re-building as it requires reorganization and creating a functional stylesheet.

Cheers!

@Gocom

No need to attack and berate SarahCAS. S/he was asking for a rate to fix the site in IE7 not on your opinion on whether you like the site or not.

yep! found it too buggy to be reliable though. sometimes it would just stop auto-updating and just random other things i just found annoying.
