Ideas: Blog to Book Import/Export
This has been discussed before, but I’m still at a standstill.
My wife, Amy, writes at minismith, and originallly wrote at minismith.blogpsot.
We’d like to get her blog/s into printed format. I’ve looked at blurb, but they don’t currently support simple RSS feeds or Textpattern on the whole. Maybe someday, but in the meantime, I’m trying to figure out a solution.
Here’s what I’ve been thinking are possibilities:
I can show the blogger blog posts all at once by providing a limit of 999 posts per page, and can do so similarly with the Textpattern site. I can then slurp that into a pdf. But the problem there is that each post will not be a separate pdf, but one large one.
I could use This script to export the textpattern articles into blogger and then utilize blurb, but man that seems complicated.
Any ideas I’m not thinking of?
If I could get each post turned into a pdf I’d be golden. Of course, I’d only want the Title, author, body, images, and not any of the sidebar (related posts, etc)

Matthew, should be possible to write a script to extract the content from blogger blogspot and as we know the format of the Textpattern SQL tables it’ll be possible to generate a PDFs from all this data. Maybe using PHP’s PDF functions or using the OS X ‘Print as PDF’ function from a webpage in Safari.
