Does Textpattern use 'allow_url_fopen'?
Media Temple will begin disabling ‘allow_url_fopen’ from Jan 18 on all its clusters on the (gs) platform. This will be a permanent change. You can override this on your php.ini file.
Will I need this override for textpattern?
• Old Photos of Japan – Japan in the 1850s~1960s (100% txp)
• MeijiShowa – Stock photos of Japan in the 1850s~1960s (100% txp)
• JapaneseStreets.com – Japanese street fashion (mostly txp)

Matthew recently asked about this too. Textpattern doesn’t use it but some plugins do.

AFAIK, moderators can do that. Try reporting your own thread, asking for it to be deleted.

whoah weird. completely offtopic but i was a member of japanesestreets years upon years ago! i had no idea it was built on textpattern. how is the member section built? looks like a separate php script?

Hi Steve.
Actually, I wasn’t. We launched a new design last August. The member section is still another program (I forgot to mention that… Fixed it.)
