Posting Video Clips to Texpattern
Is there a way to post video clips and files to Textpattern? If so, can someone advise me how to do that. I have several I am trying to post and my web developer can not assist me with this. I am using textpatern. Any help out there?

There is, but you would need the help of your web developer if you’re not a tech head. I can probably help, pop me an email if you want to. What is your site address?

probably better to convert your video to a more cross-browser friendly medium like flash video (like youtube)

I can do all the necessary work (inc. preparing the video), I’ll need TxP access and your wmv file(s). Best we do this via email if you want to go ahead.

posting a video really has nothing to do with textpattern. it can output whatever you input. if you were ‘tech savvy’ then you could easily just upload your video and then embed it like you would in any other CMS or static html page.

I am somewhat tech savvy, but when I attempted to upload the files earlier today they did not upload properly for playback.

Can you be more specific what you mean by that?
Did they not upload at all? Did the upload stop while in progress? Did you get a specific error?
If the files are uploaded, by not properly playing back, what do you mean by that? You inserted the code to play them and they won’t? You are getting a “file not found” message?
The more you can tell us, the easier it is to help. Or alternatively, make arrangements with some one such as Lee to have it done for you.

Re: Posting Video Clips to Texpattern
When I uploaded the file into the file section Textpattern converted the file from a .wmv file to .pdf file.
