Pschht... No more comment options.
Doctor,
Today I wanted to change some options* in the preference tab for my comments…
No more options, gone. I have only the publish options.
How severe is that doctor ? Should I worry ? What do you recommend** ?

I hate to tell you this, but you really should update. If you didn’t modify any files or database entries, then check your server logs for suspicious activity. Failing that, you can reinstall 4.0.3. But really, update.
A gentle reminder to those still running old versions of Textpattern: every major release has included at least one important security fix.
If you’re not already running the current version of Textpattern (4.0.5), you should upgrade as soon as possible — particularly if you are still running a very old version. zem

Very important plugins? Most plugins that stopped working with the latest version(s) have been replaced by working ones, or can without much trouble be replaced by a bit of php. I´ve been using TXP since 1.17g and I have always been able to find alternatives for outdated plugins.
