My new site - HolyTrailer.com
I’m not a frequent poster around here, but this community has been extremely helpful in solving my problems (the search field is your friend)! I want to first of all say thanks to everyone for helping me understand TxP more and more.
My site is called Holy Trailer! and it’s a blog about movie trailers. Still pretty new (Late 07 launch), and I’m still working on it, but it’s alive!

Looks really nice. I like the big web2.0 styled “H”-logo, and the “Featured Trailer”-box next to it. Althought the code consist a lot of faults, like missing closing tags, and so on, as validator points out.
Also the site works well in most popular browsers, expect that IE6 shows the videos with white background and extra whitespace, as old IE doesn’t support transparency so well. Also the footer is bigger in IE6 as the upper element’s margin/padding effects it etc.

Thanks for the feedback though, I’m currently trying to balance code fixes with making content… not easy, haha.

Verum, i like your site and its style, but i have to tell, the writing on this site is excelent, the mini summary reviews are really well done, has the Adam writer consider to write reviews for a newspaper site ?
I am already on page 13 and i can’t stop reading it :) big plus

Thanks msantos! I’m actually Adam, and this site was born out of the fact that my last blog was only really getting traffic based upon the movie trailer write-ups. So, why not a whole blog on that?

Hi, so its nice to meet you, infact i have been here in the forum’s but never registered before, or i did but forgot my old account, again thanks for the hoytrailer.com its really a good idea, for example based on your write-ups, i found out that:
1. In the new Batman movie , Heath Ledger is the Joker, it would never occur to me, and its good to him to play such a role,
2. Hancock, a new super hero movie coming out with Will Smith, Resurrecting the Champ and other movies i never heard off, but they seem great, just some examples.
So i say thank you for the site, good writing.
My comments on the design
Its light, easy to read, loads fast, somebody commented on the big H but i think its quite okay, it fits the site, the rest is good as well.
I also like the colour scheme on the blog, conclusion, i like it.
Keep it up, good luck.

Sorry for the confusion lol … people can get the wrong idea :)
I haven’t moved yet to TXP, i am now in wordpress but i do know reasonably well TXP, i have used for other projects.
I have my own website www.marcosantos.net, so this should clear people’s thoughts abit.

I didn’t really think that was the impression people were getting, I just was surprised to find such favorable reviews of my site! Trust me, I’m not bothered :)
