Add a file (PDF) to an article

I want to add a downloadable PDF to each Article that I post. I am unsure how to use Textpattern to do this. So far, I created an “Article” category within my “Content > Files” section. However, I’m unsure how to associate this PDF with the appropriate article. Do I need to create a Custom Field?

There is wan_pdf, that automagically creates the PDF version of an article.

… or try upm_file if you want to associate a specific pdf (not generated automatically) to an article
