MLP questions
I need to set up a multi language web site. So I was looking at MLP, and have a few questions:
1. I saw the flash movie shoving the admin interface, but in my case, I dont need 3 languages in admin part. Just one is enought. What I need is web site in 3 different languages. Is that possible with MLP (i gues it is, but better to ask anyway) ?
2. I am just thinking, beeing very new to txp, and if MLP is too complicated for me to adjust, can I just put 2 more folder with txp files in my web root folder, besides the existing txp site, and just have 3 instalation of txp, and each site would be on language that I need? Wouldnt that be the same thing, only I would have to log in into different site for every change?

Yes, it is possible to produce web sites in 2, 3 (or even many more) languages. I believe Stef Dawson holds the record at the moment with a 12 language site.
In the admin interface you can choose to use as many or as few languages as you like. If you only need one just use one.

I haven’t tried your idea but it might work if you have three different domains or if you could use subdomains. Personally I think the MLP Pack would be easier. Alternatively you could look at the Textbook article on managing bi-lingual sites without plugins (Edit: Hum, don’t know where that article went, it was there but the wiki now says the article is empty — strange). You might be able to extend it to three languages.

If you do decide to start using the pack, you’d probably better post to the MLP Pack’s main thread rather than start a new one. At least that way I’ll get an email and you’re issue won’t slip past me.
