It seems to be a good idea if you have someone who itself supports a nofollow blog and placed a commentar to your blog.

To rephrase: Add a per-comment flag to override the site’s default “nofollow” setting. Reasoning: Offer commenters who link to a “dofollow-policy” site a fair amount of backlink jiuce.

I object, in accordance with Google’s commandment #1:

Make pages for users, not for search engines.

Adding more and more code to publishing tools to support a proprietary attribute value solely purposed to outsource parts of G’s ranking algorithm onto the shoulders of webmasters is not a part of this requirement.
