j|g Plug-In Creator
Hello,
i’ve developed a hack for plug-in autor’s. you can download it at my site.
Sorry, the description at my blog is only in german, but i’ve also a short description for installation ;o)

Date: 05.07.2004 Author: Johannes Gamperl – visit my blog at http://www.jg-privat.de This is a hack for the CMS Textpattern (www.textpattern.com). With the j|g Plug-In Creator you can easily create your own plug-ins for installation and distribution. This will be done with the webinterface of TXP at the “plug-in” menu. Installation Before you proceed installing this hack be sure to make a backup of your original files! Replace the file “txp_plugin.php” inside the “/include” directory of TXP with the file included in this distribution. Now edit your language-file “en-gb.txt” inside the “/lang” directory of TXP. Put the following lines at the end of this file: ///////////////////////////////////////////// // j|g TXP Hacks ///////////////////////////////////////////// jg_plugin_submit1 => Compile jg_plugin_submit2 => Install jg_plugin_submit3 => Again /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// </pre>I’ve included two language-packs, the german and original english version of TXP. BTW: you can also copy an paste a plug-in code into the creation from after clicked onto the “compile” button and install this plug-in. so you don’t have do download and then upload a plug-in ;o)

Rufnex, how do I enter code in the Help area? The < code > < /code > tags don’t seem to work.
Edit: Never mind, found it, have to use & l t ; for every < .

I took a quick peek. It won’t allow you to create admin-side plugins (those are only a recent thing). Otherwise I think it’ll be fine.
