linklist produces extra BR tag
I just noticed that the linklist tag is producing an extra <br />
tag even when the break attribute is set.
According to the wiki:
break=“value”
(X)HTML tag (without brackets) or string used to separate list items. Default is unset.
My code:
<txp:linklist break="li" category="mycategory" sort="linksort asc" wraptag="ul" class="height200" />
Produces this XHTML:
<ul class="height200">
<li><a href="/myurl" title="title1">Link1</a><br /></li>
<li><a href="/myurl2" title="title2">Link2</a><br /></li>
<li><a href="/myurl3" title="title3">Link3</a><br /></li>
</ul>

Is there a <br />
in your plainlinks form?

Yeah that was it. Forgot about the default plainlinks form. Thanks. BTW, I used to live in Brunei, little up the road from you :-)

Was there for 2 years from 1998 to 2000. The Singapore for 2 years. Selamat Pagi and a few other things – but did not learn it too well. Panas! That was used a lot…are you in Sarawak or Sabah? Last time I was down that way was in Kuching or Miri.

Hey, that’s close enough for a txp meet-up next time you are out here!

Hey, not sure when that’s going to be! Was fun going over the border to Kuala Lura from BSB for a couple of beers. Surreal though. You been there? Weird place in the middle of the jungle. Jawi’s on the first right for some beers, and then buy some booze in one of his wooden cellars, hidden to prevent the police raiding him and stealing the booze….!!

Re: linklist produces extra BR tag
Funnily enough, I just returned from BSB a few days ago. Whilst I was there, the newspapers carried reports of the bust-up of a sugar smuggling operation. Sacks of refined sugar, dressed up and imported as sacks of rice.
Sad to hear about the corruption there in K.Luara and the need to hide things — having been out here for over 6 years I believe you. Personally I’m teetotal but I can well imagine that happening someplace just over the border.

Was in Brunei for about a week in 1988, seemed a place to know the perils!

Its a small world, isn’t it? :-) Brunei is full of little secrets. There is a roaring trade on the black market – alcohol etc. Nice people and incredibly beautiful though – the rainforest and beaches are fabulous, just not very well promoted. Not an awful lot to do apart from nature though….
