Creating a Shows page without plugins

This is something I had to do for a site I’m working EuniceWilliams.com

I just wanted to use the built-in Textpattern date field and articles to create a Performances page, so I put this together:

<txp:article_custom limit="100" sort="Posted asc" form="performances" section="performances" time="future" />

http://eunicewilliams.com/performances is the result

I wrote a little more about it on my blog Pixelspread

Re: Creating a Shows page without plugins

The main problem with the ‘future’ date is that it is not included in the rss/atom so your are not able to advertise the event to the people who subscribe to your feeds. Having said that, there might be a plugin out there which includes future articles in the feeds.
