I can't decide which archive plugin to use
I really need to hurry up & make a decision, but for some reason, I can’t. I noticed that there are 93924792 archive plugins & managed to narrow it down to two:
upm_date_archive
rss_suparchive
Which one would you recommend?

Try them both, read the documentation, see which one fits best what you need it to do. If you look at who wrote them, neither is a wrong choice.

There is also this FAQ entry, with some excellent information on how to make an archive page without any plugins.

Re: I can't decide which archive plugin to use
I did read the documentations, but I still can’t decide.
jstubbs – I read that a while back, but have no idea if pagination is supported. There’s no way I could archive everything on one page.

not sure what you expect people to be telling you…both of those plugins do what they are described to do. the 3 hours it has taken you to ‘not’ decide could have been used to test each of those plugins yourself.

Re: I can't decide which archive plugin to use
It all depends on what you want to archive, in which sections those articles live.
If you use the frontpage to show articles and have only picked a section because you had to, you can turn the section page into an archive page.

Re: I can't decide which archive plugin to use
My personal blog’s archive just uses plain ol Txp magic, it’s really all I needed.

I guess that it depends what you want the archive to do. My general approach is to use txp tags wherever possible as it will safeguard future compatibility.
