Hi I am using this as more of a CMS type system and therefore dont need the time saying “22 minutes ago” or the comment feature, how can I disable these?

Thanks in advance

Re: Taking off the time and comment features

edit the form you’re using (assuming default) and take out the <txp:posted /> tag.

as for your comments, go to admin -> prefs -> set Automatically append comments to articles? to no.

Re: Taking off the time and comment features

you’re editing the form right? (presentation -> forms)

the <txp:posted /> tag is definitely there or else you wouldn’t see the time showing up.

additionally, if you’re still using the default form you should also see something like <txp:comments_invite /> tag in there as well. feel free to remove that if you don’t need the comment link.

if you’re not sure what forms are, they will be your best friend in textpattern.

Actually, the preference you want is named something like “Acceppt comments?”
