Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_youtube
And you’re using the latest version?
Try enclosing the ako_youtube plugin call with <notextile><txp:ako_textile ... /></notextile>
.
The problem, it seems, is that textile is catching the quotations and making them into “smary quotes”, and well, that just won’t do.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_youtube
Hmm, didn’t seem to work. I’m using v.2.1, thats the newest correct? Aside from setting the plugin to “Active” is there anything I’m supposed to do after the install? Sorry, I just started using textpattern a few days ago.

Could you try just turning textile off for me?
I see one place in the code where such an error might occur, but it isn’t in this use case. So I beleive that it’s something to do with your install.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_youtube
Alright, I feel like a fool. I needed to remove the quotes around the V field, once I did that it worked fine. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate your patience and the great plugin.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_youtube
Hi,
this is a very nice plugin. It is possible to subscribe the videos of a special user or a special tag or the combination of both?
Maybe you can recommend another plugin?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_youtube
Well, I have installed txp:by_youtube
Main reason was that it outputs the valid code by default. I would love to see ako_youtube change the behavior to output by default valid code.
Tip: I have created a little AutoHotkey shortcut ‘byyt#’
<txp:by_youtube v="" />{Left}{Left}{Left}{Left}
The 4 {Left} place the cursor between the quotes. For sure there is only an automatic clipboard paste possible. I have to research that.
