Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_live_search

I also get the links wrong like mescobosa, but I get the date /1970/01/01/ for all my links… what to do about this?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_live_search

This plugin appears to cause validation problems. Anyone found some fixes for this?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_live_search

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_live_search

This has been asked (and somewhat covered before), but I would like to know how, using the current version, I can restrict the search to a particular section. Is there a relatively straight-forward method to editing the code so I can define the section? Any insight (and/or sample code) will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_live_search

This is soooo strange.
My live search box contains a small version of my search result page, but without the result.
Looks more or less like a screen capture.

I too would like to know this. :)

I want to make radio buttons to select the section the live results pull from. Or tabs.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_live_search

I will gladly pay someone to update this plugin with a few new features. Anyone else want on board? Please add changes you need and we could all possible agree to pitch in. I will pay normal hourly rates to a developer in the case that no one else is interested in supporting further development of this plugin.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_live_search

I have live search working, but the drop-down results get hidden behind the image I have below. I’ve tried a z-index tag in my CSS, but that didn’t work.

Anyone?

Thanks.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_live_search

Hi Joe,
It’s a cross-browser issue. I think it can be fixed with some sort of z-index tag in CSS (which I’ve yet to figure out). However, once I simply removed the “height” tag from the CSS the results now pushes the content below the Search window, which is good enough.

Thanks for your help!

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_live_search

A new question. When a person types in a search term in the window and if they hit “return” (which I know they shouldn’t, but many are in the habit of doing so) the page returns back to the Home page. How could I change that location to my custom “search” page?

Thanks for your genius!
