Object not found: error 404

Dear Sir,

Currently I having trouble to view certain link on my server. The link always show me “Object not found! The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error. If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster. Error 404 gateway 11/27/07 09:04:56 Apache/2.2.2 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.2 OpenSSL/0.9.8b mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.1.4 “ . I’m not sure what happen and below is the diagnostic – High info our obtain from the texpattern admin. Any idea?

Thank you for your quick response.
I’ve try using the easiest way which is changing the permanent link to messy mode… however still getting the same error. Any other idea? We are curious that it has been working all the while for two years but suddently it stop…

You’re missing your .htaccess file (see Pre-flight check error). Grab a new one. Upgrade to the latest version of Textpattern while you’re at it – plenty of new features, security and bug fixes.

I see but may I know where should I put the .htaccess file in? Which folder? We plan to migrate the latest version of Textpattern next year, anyway thanks for your suggestion and textpattern are a really great tools to use.
