News Blurbs on front page

This should be an easy question. I just can’t find the answer anywhere.

I am building a site with a news section that functions like a blog. On the front page I want to show the last 3 news excerpts from the news section.

Since you can’t post an article to multiple sections, I can’t do it that way. I need each news item to show both in the main news section and the most recent ones on the front page.

I hope that makes sense…

Check out article_custom.

default page template:

<txp:article_custom form="blurb" limit="3" section="news" />

Create the form, blurb (type: article), in Presentation>Forms.
