Re: [request] Plugin request: Panorama plug-in
I’d buy it if uploads QTVR and generates fullscreens for me :)

Panorama Plugin: mem_panorama
It doesn’t have all the features like I stated, but it has most of them. My schedule has drastically shifted in the past 12 hours, so I will not be able to continue working on this for a while. Send me an email if there are any major bugs.
With luck, when my schedule frees up (ha!) I’ll add the rest of the applet attributes.
BTW, if anyone can email me a panoramic picture that I can use on my site as a live example, I would greatly appreciate it. I found a few online, but I felt like keeping it within the community.

Re: [request] Plugin request: Panorama plug-in
Manfre,
I send you one panoramic picture. Hope it helps. Your plugin works great (but not under g1.19).
I found an interesting French tutorial on how to use valid xhtml java code for PTviewer. IE(Internet Exploder) doesn’t eat that, of course, so the <code><applet></code> can go between <code><!—[if IE]><![endif]—></code> conditional comments.

Re: [request] Plugin request: Panorama plug-in
Is this plugin working in 4.05?
Its quite old, and I don’t want to install it if it breaks stuff.
But as far as I can see, it’s the only panorama plugin there is at the moment…

Re: [request] Plugin request: Panorama plug-in
give it a shot. if it ‘breaks’ anything just disable it?

Re: [request] Plugin request: Panorama plug-in
Yeah I guess so…..but is that always the case, or do some plugins mess with the database in such a way that it’s a good idea to check around a little first? That certainly seems to be true, some of them for example adding tables and such that could potentially be quite disruptive to a txp site if you then disable them.
Hmm is that a good topic to discuss in its own thread?…..
Anyway, I’m interested to know if anyone’s using it in 4.05 or if maybe there’s a better plugin to consider (I couldn’t find any).

Thanks, maybe I’ll investigate that one first because it’s a lot more recent…..

Re: [request] Plugin request: Panorama plug-in
mem_panorama does not modify the database. I haven’t tested it with 4.0.5, but I can’t imagine anything causing it to not work. IIRC, it just generated an appropriate html applet tag and passed through attributes. I’ll get around to validating it soon.
