What do I not understand about sections?
This is the site I’m working on > www.joopvos.nl/txp
All ‘live’ articles are published under section ‘articles’. This section isn’t in the site navigation. In the #footer(s) of all sections (pages), including section ‘articles’, I published sticky articles. Now, on all pages these articles are showing up, but NOT on the permalink page … how come?

Because you are probably using <txp:article />, which is context sensitive. That means that when on an individual article page, it won’t output anything but the individual article that is in the URL. Using <txp:article_custom section="articles" status="sticky" /> instead will work.
