Comments problem
Hi all!
I use TXP for every site I desing. Mostly I use it as CMS-only.
But on my newest site I have a few static pages and a blog side where you can comment on posts.
So I allowed commenting for the site, when I post some news or review on my blog I allow commenting for the post.
But the problem is, on my static pages, I now get a message at the end of the (static) article ‘you can not comment on this article’ (I don’t know how they say it in the English version as I’m using the Dutch one…) except on the default homepage, there I don’t have this message.
My question is, how can I delete the ‘you can not comment on this article’for my static pages (it does not look very professional)?
On my static pages I use the same form as I do for the homepage, it’s just a form with a <txp:body /> so with no comments_invite tag in as I use for my blog, just to say the problem is not there as I don’t use a comment_invite tag in my static pages
One solution is to post everything as a default homepage section but then I have to mess with the right ID codes to put everywhere.
Thanks for all help, will be much appriciated!
Karl

Re: Comments problem
Nice, thanks for the quick reply’s!
It works, simply deleted the ‘comments closed’ tag in the comment display form.
Pretty obvious and easy in fact, but I was already searching a whole day after it, stupid me :-)
Thank you!
