[textile] Forcing a bq.. to close
Hi,
I want to “force” a “long” blockquote tag to close. I know that opening another tag will do it, but I need to open a DIV tag after a “bq..”. The result is that the “div” is wrapped in a <p> inside the <blockquote> – which isn’t what I want.
I need something like this:
<blockquote>
…
</blockquote>
<div class=”…”>
textile stuff here
</div>
more textile
thanks,

Re: [textile] Forcing a bq.. to close
I had a similar problem. I wanted 2 paragraphs to be inside a blockquote but if i use bq with one . after it, it only does the first paragraph and with .. after it, it does the whole rest of the post.
I found the easiest workaround was to use html br tags between paragraphs in a blockquote.

Simply start the next paragraph that you don’t want inside the blockquote with p.
(that’s ‘pee dot’)
